1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 SportsPro NEW ERA is organised and managed by SportsPro Media Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under the registration number 6667015 and whose registered office is at 4th Floor, 123 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 9SH, United Kingdom.
1.2 Reference to “us” and “the Organisers” means SportsPro Media Limited and references to “we” and “our” shall be construed accordingly. Reference to “you” or “Entrant” means the entity completing an entry and references to “your” or “their” shall be construed accordingly.
1.3 All applications to the SportsPro NEW ERA Programme are made subject to these Terms & Conditions (which shall apply to the exclusion of any terms imposed by you).
2. ELIGIBILITY, RULES, AND DISQUALIFICATION
2.1 The NEW ERA Programme is open to females involved in the sports industry. The programme is job, age, and location agnostic. However, those who have previously been featured in similar programs or industry content are not eligible. More information here.
2.2 Route to entry to the NEW ERA Programme and details of how to enter are available on the website here. Guidelines on how to enter are as follows:
- Create your profile
- Fill out the submission form (30 minutes) (you can save your progress)
- Submit your nomination by 23:59 (BST) Friday 23rd September 2022
- Successful applicants notified before Monday 24th October 2022
2.3 You may only submit an application for yourself. We will assume all entries and information supplied is original and accurate. In the event an entrant is discovered to have supplied false information we have the right to disqualify the entrant.
2.4 Entries will be considered completed once application has been submitted.
2.5 Entries that have not been submitted by, 23:59 (BST) Friday 23rd September 2022 are not eligible for the programme.
2.6 All entries will be acknowledged by a confirmation email.
2.7 Entries that do not meet the eligibility requirements explained here may be disqualified at any stage without notification.
2.8 No responsibility will be taken by SportsPro Media for any applications not submitted correctly or within guidelines.
2.9 Entries become the property of the organisers.
2.10 The Entrant will take responsibility for responding to all correspondence with the Organisers relating to this application.
2.11 Any entries which the Organisers or judges consider in their discretion to be incomplete entries will automatically be rejected and where the Organisers or judges consider in their discretion that an entry includes any false or misleading information within an application, they will automatically disqualify the Entrant who submitted such false or misleading information from the programme. The Organisers reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the programme.
2.12 By entering this programme, an Entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
3.1 Applications to the SportsPro NEW ERA Programme are free of charge, therefore no payment is required to enter this programme.
4. CHANGES TO THE NEW ERA PROGRAMME
4.1 It may be necessary to alter advertised timings and content of the programme. We reserve the right to do this at any time. Where any significant changes are made, we will provide you with adequate notice.
4.2 We are not responsible for inaccurate benefit details supplied to any Entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
5. BENEFITS AND JUDGING PROCESS
5.1 Successful applicants will be invited to join the NEW ERA Programme Cohort. Benefits included as part of the cohort includes free passes to all SportsPro events for 12 months, the opportunity for editorial and thought leadership features on SportsPro’s platforms, a coaching session with each member of the Steering Group, and industry networking opportunities.
5.2 The benefits are as stated, and no cash is involved. Successful applicants will still need to cover the costs of travel/accommodation for associated events. Benefits cannot be transferred to another.
5.3 Successful entrants will be chosen by our Steering Group. The Steering Group can be viewed on the NEW ERA Website here.
5.4 There will be twelve successful applicants. Final decisions will be decided by the Steering Group.
5.5 Successful entrants will be notified prior to Monday 24th October 2022.
5.6 Successful applicants will be announced on Monday 24th October 2022, and the programme will commence afterwards.
5.7 The decision of the Steering Group will be final, and we will not enter any correspondence or discussion with any Entrants, nor will we accept any submissions, representations or appeals with regard to such decision.
5.8 The Organiser reserves the right to change the judging panel or process without prior notice to the Entrants.
5.12 Successful applicants may publicise their involvement. Being successful in the NEW ERA Programme does not confer on you any intellectual property rights in relation to the programme or the Organisers, which remain the property of the Organisers.
5.13 By applying to the programme, an Entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5.14 The programme and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
6. DATA PROTECTION
The information you provide will be held by us. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), we are the data controller.
Entries to the SportsPro NEW ERA are managed using a system operated by a third party under contract to us. Data, including personal data, will be processed and stored on systems managed by this third party and us. This data can only be accessed by authorised members of our staff and, for the purposes of maintaining and supporting the system, by members of staff at the third party.
Where we contract with additional third parties to deliver SportsPro NEW ERA, we may also provide them with access to this data in order for them to fulfil their services to us.
Entry into the SportsPro NEW ERA Programme will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
